How to Play Killer Sudoku

Killer Sudoku fuses standard Sudoku with arithmetic cages for a brutal — and brilliant — challenge.

Short rules

  1. Place numbers 1–9 in every row, column, and 3×3 box — standard Sudoku rules apply.
  2. Cells are grouped into dotted cages. The digits within each cage must sum to the shown total.
  3. No digit may repeat within a cage.

How to Play

  • A cage of one cell gives you a free number.
  • Nine-cell cages summing to 45 contain every digit 1–9.
  • When you know the cage sum and most digits, calculate the missing one.
